Kenyu Koga

Kenyu Koga Sensei is a 2^nd degree black belt in Uechi-Ryu karate who trained since 2012 under the tutelage of Master Folta. He started training to improve his physical and mental strength. As he was reaching his 1^st degree black belt, he participated in various karate tournaments and assisted Master Folta’s class to help students promote them to the next belt rank. In June 2024, he earned his black belt after his long years of training and instructing classes. After being promoted to his 1^st degree black belt he continued training and instructing classes at Okinawa Karate & Cultural Center. In April 2025, Kenyu Sensei participated in rank promotion test for 2^nd degree black belt under Master Folta and Master Uechi Sadanao, the current president of Uechi-Ryu Karate-do from Okinawa. He then earned his 2^nd degree black belt.
